Microdermabrasion & Chemical peel combo
Microdermabrasion is a “mechanical” technique for resurfacing the topmost layer of skin. Unlike most microdermabrasion systems, which use loose crystals, we use the DiamondTome™ wand which is composed of natural diamond chips. The DiamondTome wand removes dead skin cells by gently exfoliating the skin, while at the same time vacuuming away the dead skin cells. A light chemical peel is generally included to enhance the exfoliation process. This treatment leaves a smoother texture, promotes a radiant glow, and helps boost skin’s collagen production.
Virtually every skin type is a candidate for this treatment. It is especially beneficial for sun-damaged skin, the reduction of minor to moderate fine lines, for oily skin, for reducing acne scarring, and freeing the skin of blackheads and whiteheads. Your skin will look and feel smoother and more vibrant after the first treatment, and will continue to improve with additional treatments. There is no downtime and normal activities may be resumed immediately!
Glycolic Acid (AHA) Peel
Glycolic Acid, an alpha hydroxy acid, is derived from sugarcane. We use 50-70% Unbuffered glycolic acid as a chemical exfoliant to slough the dead skin cells in the topmost layer of the skin and stimulate new collagen growth, which helps to reverse skin aging. Glycolic acid peels can effectively diminish fine lines, unclog and tighten pores, blend uneven skin tones, lighten hyper-pigmentation and help to control acne and persistent breakouts. Virtually everyone is a candidate for this treatment, which leaves the skin softer, smoother, brighter and younger-looking.
Initially, 3 treatments are recommended at 2-week intervals, with monthly peels thereafter. In addition to the face, areas such as the chest, back, arms, hands, and legs can also benefit from treatment. There is no downtime and normal activities may be resumed immediately.
Vitalize Peel
The Vitalize Peel is a unique blend of Alpha-Hydroxy and Retinoic Acids, making it one of the strongest but safest “light” peels. Even after one peel you will begin to notice a dramatic improvement in your skin’s texture and tone, a lessening of superficial lines and a healthier, more youthful look. The renewal process has been clinically proven to help pigmentation problems (age spots) and stimulate collagen production. It is very useful in acne and melasma. The Vitalize Peel is gentle enough to use every three weeks with maximum benefits achieved after a series of treatments
Jessner's Peel
Jessner’s Peel consists of multiple peeling agents and is the lightest of the medium-strength peels. Resorcinol, lactic acid, and salicylic acid are combined to work together to diminish wrinkles, lighten hyper-pigmentation, control acne, and slow down the production of excess oil. Each acid plays a different role in resurfacing the skin.
Jessner’s Peel safely penetrates the outer layers of the skin more deeply than the glycolic acid peel, resulting in greater exfoliation of skin cells in the epidermal layer which can produce noticeable flaking for 3 to 4 days. Smoother, healthier skin will be revealed within a week. Jessner's Peel is suitable for most skin types and is also effective on the neck, hands, and upper chest.
Salicylic Acid (BHA-Beta Hydroxy Acid) Peels
Salicylic acid rids the skin of impurities such as whiteheads, blackheads, oil, and debris and is particularly beneficial for acne-prone skin. It also helps reduce pore size and decrease fine lines by moisturizing the cells. This is the ideal detoxifying peel for people who suffer from whiteheads and little bumps under the skin. The salicylic acid peel may be combined with a Glycolic Acid Peel which penetrates deeper into the epidermal layer to stimulate new cell production and increase the rate at which the skin sheds dead cells to reveal new skin cells.
Rosacea Peel
This is a milder (35%) glycolic acid peel combined with green tea to accelerate the healing process without affecting the peeling process.
