Simply stated, if you look into the mirror and are not pleased with the appearance of your nose due to the abnormal size, thickened skin and deformities, you may be a good candidate for Dr. Kaplan's Rhinophyma Excision Surgery.
What is Rhinophyma Excision?
Rhinophyma Excision is a laser procedure that safely and effectively addresses the issue of Rhinophyma. A laser is the primary tool in this process.
Rhinophyma is a massive lobular swelling of the tip of the nose. Rhinophyma is caused by acne rosacea that traps bacteria in the sebaceous glands of the nose. These glands continue to grow larger in size (hypertrophy) while the skin grows thicker. This results in a larger than normal, disfigured nose which can also obstruct nasal function.
