Restylane Injectable Treatment – What to Expect

Using an ultra fine needle, Restylane is injected in very small doses beneath the skin around the mouth or the area being treated.  You will experience mild discomfort.  Bruising rarely occurs at the injection sites, but when it does it is minimal and it resolves within hours or a day or two.  Avoiding aspirin and ibuprofen will help minimize bruising.

Restylane's effects last approximately 6 months.  Touch-up syringes are available to help prolong the results. Restylane is made from non-animal based hyaluronic acid, used to provide fullness and volume.  The crystal clear biodegradable gel is called NASHAtm. Restylane contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid of any dermal filler available today, making it an excellent dermal filler.
